SodexoLIVE! is seeking a Human Resources Manager 1 to join our team at JFK Airport. This HR Manager will office out the JFK International Airport in Jamaica, NY supporting a lounge/club with an hourly staff size of 150 – 250 employees. This position will report to JFK 4 days a week & office remote 1 day a week.
- maintain active and terminated employee files; update employee information as requested;
- employee relations matters to include employee concerns, coaching/counseling/documentation,
- involve those necessary based on incidents; Sodexo HR People Center, legal and HR Manager III;
- act as the primary consultant on various HR initiatives.
- hire new employees through our ADP Enterprise hiring system;
- ensure I-9 compliance at the unit.
- assist with recruitment efforts- Attend job fairs.
- provide new hire orientation on-boarding,
- addressing any payroll/ HR concerns
- overall HR support to the management team on site; and/or
- support of the airport security badging process, training and other administrative duties/projects as assigned.
COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $25/hr – $30/hr depending on applicant’s skills and qualifications, degrees, certifications, and prior job experience.

What We Offer
Sodexo offers fair and equitable compensation, partially determined by a candidate’s education level or years of relevant experience. While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate’s specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
Handles basic human resource functions and administration for a single account/unit. May include payroll, benefits, training, employee relations, recruiting, safety, etc. Position focuses on hourly workforce.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
